About the Arist: Trish Kahn

Artist's Statement:

Art is about self-discovery.  What I enjoy most about the process, is that art has no boundaries, keeping me in the present while awakening my inner spirit. Creating art is all about the journey that follows many different pathways towards awareness.  My most recent works connect with nature and a sense of place.  Each painting captures a moment in time which leads to a free-flowing pathway to my inner-self.  As a colorist, I paint for the joy of painting with the bold use of color, line and movement.  Quite often my paintings are intuitive and spontaneous which mirror emotions from within.  That’s when I feel the spirit awaken.
